The organisers of the Shropshire Congress are still looking for an additional volunteer to act as a ‘security guard’. This role is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the congress atmosphere but not play. A condition of using the venue is that one of our members must agree to position themselves at the entrance at all times. Your role will be to remind people to sign in and out and deter anyone attempting to steal the office computers. When players aren’t stealing computers you will have view of the main live board screen or can just chat with the players but we need to demonstrate to Wrekin there is always someone positioned there otherwise next year we will lose the fantastic venue.
There is potential for splitting this role between 2 people if one person doesn’t want to commit to it all weekend.
