The 1st tournament of the 2024 Online Shropshire Junior Grand Prix will be held on Lichess on Sunday 18th February starting at 2pm and lasting 2 hours.

Entry is free and the following prizes (sponsored by Newport Chess Club) are available:
1st – £10
2nd – £5
U1200 rating prize – £5
U1000 rating prize – £5
This will be the first of 6 online arena tournaments ran across the year. The sum of a player’s 4 highest scoring arena’s will count toward their grand prix score and the overall winner will receive a trophy at the junior congress. A full set of grand prix rules can be found here:
