Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting will be held at Wrekin Housing Trust, Telford on Wednesday, 20th July 2015 at 7.30pm.
Please ensure that any trophies held by your club are engraved and brought to the AGM for presentation, where required.

  1. Election of Officers                                       - V Crean is standing down as League controller and has proposed N Paul    
  2. Short review of last year’s rule changes – including clarification of ungraded players who get a provisional grade and the eligibility of playing in a second team for the same club.                                               
  3. Junior School Chess Championship in Oct/Nov 2016  - Simon Maydew                                          
  4. Clarification - Definition of a junior team remains the same ie at least 3 juniors play in the team. The junior team can continue to play all matches at home (unless playing another junior side). In division two this may mean two adults playing (on most occasions Newport Juniors  team will be 4 juniors and 1 adult.  However if illnesses prevail the team will be 3 juniors plus 2 with a Newport C player stepping in- Simon Maydew                                        
  5. Any other business                                      Donations of magazines and books have been made to Severn Hospice shop in Mardol, Shrewsbury.
