28th January Lincolnshire v Shropshire
3rd March Shropshire v Gt Manchester

This match has been conceded due to lack of support. This is disappointing after last months win and I am appealing for players to make themselves available for the match against Lincolnshire, held at Syston, Leics (half way). Defaulting the Derbyshire match will probably mean that we will have an additional away match next season, so expect Four away matches and one home match which will likely to be at the half-way venue of Syston Leics!
Shropshire v Leicestershire 5th Nov
A happy occasion as this was my first over the board win as County Captain. Nick Rutter was unlucky to pick Grandmaster Mark Hebden and was black again but that was were the bad news ended as remarkably no losses between board 2 and 14 meant Shropshire gained a good victory.
