The Shropshire Chess Association is affiliated to the Midland Counties Chess Union (MCCU).
Open County
Team
This year the team will again be captained by Windsor Peck (Shifnal and Telford). Colin Roberts will continue to update the team webpage.
County Under
125 Team
John Westhead (Telepost) resigned as captain following the 2006-07 season but will continue to manage the U125 webpages. Windsor Peck is acting captain until someone can be found to take on the role.
County
Under 100 Teams
The county will field two teams this season.
The existing U100 team becomes the U100 A Team and will be captained by Roger Brown (Shifnal and Telford)
Shropshire Juniors will compete as the U100 B Team and will be managed by junior organisers Francis Best and Steve Rooney (Shrewsbury).
